Geocaching
4th Grade students at River Springs Elementary participated in a golfball scavenger hunt to solve math problems. They learned about GPS coordinates, satellites, and more as they used GPS receivers to find hidden golf balls marked with letters and numbers. Students then collaborated with other students and used the letters and numbers they found to solve multi-step math problems.
