Mother's Day Silhouette Using Tagxedo

Third grade students at River Springs Elementary are creating a unique gift for mother's day, Tagxedo Silhouettes. We started by taking profile pictures of each student. 

 Then we used pixlr.com to take out the background and to fill their profile with black to create the silhouette. 

 The final step was to use Tagxedo to fill words describing their mother's in the silhouette of themselves. Moms are going to LOVE this project.

    What a wonderful tech art project! I remeber doing something similar when I was in school, of course the teacher used an overhead;) Look forward to hearing more about it!

    I am in love with this project. I wish my daughter could have this opportunity. I would so frame it!
