Mrs. Spires 4th Grade Class- Finding Area and Perimeter Geocaching

4th Grade students at River Springs Elementary participated in a geo-caching math activity. They learned about GPS coordinates, satellites, and more as they used GPS receivers to find points where they marked and then measured the outside of the shape the points created. Students then collaborated with other students to find both the perimeter then the area of the shape created.
