Students in Mrs. Alessi's 3rd Grade class used GPS devices to locate 6 treasure chests that were placed by InTec Specialist Andrea Rollison and Math Coach Debbie Mingus. Mrs. Rollison and Mrs. Mingus hid the treasure chest outside on the schools campus and mark their latitude and longitude points using the GPS devices. Students had to use these devices to find the treasure chests which were filled with 6 different math activities. Once the students found the treasure, they had to solve the math problem before looking for the other treasure.
